Steps to hook up to the Smart Boards in the Allied Health Building Labs and Classrooms

Turn on the power on the lower Right side of the Smart board.

Wait until an owner sign comes up on the board. Tap the owner icon and then 111111 as the password.

Plug the HDMI cord to either an adapter or your laptop. The display will go black and you will see a spinning wheel in the center of the screen. This may take up to 20 seconds to show your computer screen so do not panic if it does not immediately come on.

If you are using the owl, plug the USB into your adaptor or laptop (It’s the cord coming

From the ceiling).

To turn off:

1. Unplug the HDMI Cord and (owl cord if used) from your laptop.
2. Push power off on the Smart board.
3. Touch the turn off icon notification screen on the board
