Brightspace has a full virtual classroom integrated into our application. To access the Brightspace Virtual Classroom, instructors and students can access Virtual Classroom from the top menu bar under More > Virtual Classroom.

The Brightspace virtual classroom contains all the typical features we expect of web conferencing software. These features include:

• PowerPoint and MS Office document upload and conversion to PDF
• Screen sharing
• Session recording (automatic or manual)
• Whiteboarding and document mark-up
• External participants (i.e., guest lecturers) allowed
• Computer or call-in/phone audio
• Breakout Rooms
• Participant video (i.e., webcams)
• In-session text Chat and participant reactions
